We made it! Day three of Priya & Kavit’s amazing wedding weekend concluded with a bang - a beautiful Hindu ceremony and awesome reception. Priya looked stunning in her fuchsia Sari from Fronteir and hair & make-up by Lishma. The event all took place at the Braemar Country Club and started off with the incredible Baraat. Kavit on a horse from Enchanted Carriages and surrounded by his dancing family, lead him to Priya’s family, where they welcome him and all his family into theirs. The beautiful ceremony Mandap was created by Krushna Mandap. Manohar Delhi Palace once again catered an incredible dinner.

We had such a wonderful time with you guys and your families the entire weekend. Thank you for allowing us to be such a big part of your day. Congratulations!!!

Buckle up, this is a longer than usual post for me… but I just couldn’t not show it all!

Day two of Priya & Kavit’s three day wedding was the Sangeet at the Brandview Collection. The Sangeet is all about family & friends performing for the bride & groom and then dancing all night! The unbelievably delicious food was catered by Manohar’s Delhi palace (why do you think we love shooting Indian weddings so much??). Priya’s hair & make-up by Play hair lounge and her beautiful Lehanga Choli was from Fronteir in Artesia. Everyone had a great time!

Priya & Kavit’s Mehendi Party was day one of three and kicked off a weekend of festivities that included food, dancing, fun and more food, dancing & fun! The party took place and was catered by the amazing Gaylords, Priya’s Hair & Make up were done by Play hair lounge, and her sari from Loveleen. Priya’s mehendi turned out beautiful and fabulously dark!

Elizabeth & Joe had a private little ceremony in Colorado not too long ago. While taking a little “mini-moon” in Malibu (they went to and met at Pepperdine and love it out here) they decided they wanted some portraits of themselves. We were more than happy to oblige. They are super sweet and we had a great time romping around with them at El Matador. They’ll be having a big wedding next year in Jamaica! Congrats guys, we had a blast with you!

I’m nominating these guys for “Coolest Family of the Year” award. I mean, look at them - who could be cooler? We had a blast with Sean, Leigh & Lachlan playing on the beach by the Santa Monica Pier, one of our favorite portrait spots.

We first had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family when we photographed Jocee & Tali’s wedding a few years ago. Jocee & her siblings wanted to do something extra special for their moms birthday, so everyone flew to Los Angeles to hang for the weekend and get family portraits taken! We met them all at Griffith Park early in the morning to catch some great light and had a ball.

I love that there is such a tight network of photographers in this town, and I particularly have some very talented friends I get to shoot with every now and then. Kari Kochar is always a blast to work with, and she’s a fabulous shooter. Here’s a wedding I shot with Kari at the beautiful Langham hotel in Pasadena. Pinyu & John were such a sweet couple and couldn’t have been more happy to be getting married. Check out Pinyu’s stunning Amsale dress! I LOVED the use of lighting and gobos to give beautiful effects on the walls. The day ran smoothly, thanks to Amanda at Fresh Events Company, and High Rise from de Bois rocked the house.

Brooke & Ben’s fabulous wedding will be happening this May, and we can’t wait! We had a blast with them during their engagement session, which was centered around LACMA’s Urban Lights sculpture. It was a beautiful evening, fabulous light and a hot couple. We love our job.
