Traci & Jeff were referred to us by Emily & Seth who’s beautiful wedding at the Delfina we photographed last year. They called us a couple of weeks ago wanting us to photograph their Oct 18th wedding in Orlando, but we were already booked for that weekend. They decided instead to fly out here so we could at least shoot their engagement session and create a guestbook for the wedding! We were so honored they come out here just for us! T&J, we had the best time with you guys and wish you all the luck in the world. Sorry we can’t be there for the big day, but we’re so happy to have shot these for you. Enjoy!

If you can believe it, Lucas is 6 months old today!! We celebrated with his first meal of solid food. Maybe 20% of it he actually ate, and we can’t tell if we was having more fun eating or grabbing at the spoons, but it was a great start. Here’s a few shots of our boy from the last couple of weeks…

I recently was second shooter for a wedding with my friend Kari Kochar. We have a great time shooting together, and I always think it’s fun to work with other photographers. Liz and Chris were such a sweet couple and it was so nice to have a big block of time to do all their portraits! We started the day and ceremony at St. Bernadine of Siena Catholic Church. We then hit Leonis Adobe for some fun with the wedding party and couple. Reception was at the Woodland Hills Country Club. Here was my take on the day:

Get Married! has a feature on their show called OMG My Wedding is on TV! Today’s episode (Sept 11, 2008) featured Sheila & Roni’s amazing 2 day hindu and sikh wedding! We’re so excited to have seen our work on TV, check it out!

Monday night we got to photograph The Knot’s Market Party they throw every year for their advertisers. While I’m not able to post any of the photos yet, you’ll be able to see them in the next issue of The Knot Southern California. I just had to share the list of vendors that made the party fantastic… as well as a cool shot Nate took of me in action.

I don’t think I’ve seen two people more excited than Kimrie and Eli to be getting married!! Just take a look at Kimrie’s 10,000 mega watt perma-smile she had on all day!! We had such a great time with these guys roaming around the beautiful Westlake Village Inn. Hope you’re having a great time in Acapulco!
