With the arrival of Lucas, we deliberately did not book a lot of weddings for the first half of this year, just to give us time to adjust to our new family. Now that we are figuring out this new life, we are making more time for shooting. In doing so, we’ve been able to shoot with friends of ours in the photo community. We love working with other photographers, it inspires us to see how other people shoot and work with their clients, and it allows us the fun of shooting without all the post production work after! This past weekend, Nate shot with Veronica of VeroFoto at the beautiful Guasti Villa in Ontario. I have to give Veronica a shout out, as she almost single handedly got B&G into business way back in the day. Thank you V, we love you! Here’s Nate’s vision of the day…

Anne came to us at 38 weeks for her maternity session and she looked fabulous! We had a great time with her and Charlie and can’t wait to see their baby for their newborn session! We’re sending you lots of good thoughts for a quick and beautiful birth!!! Good luck guys!

Is it just me, or is there a baby boom happening right now? Maybe it’s like when you buy a new car, and then you see everyone driving the same car you have? Strange phenomenon… Well, the great part of all these new babies is photographing them! Here’s Braylin, the new addition to Adriana & Jeremy’s family (who’s wedding we shot back in 2005). He was a great model and we loved hanging out with him in our new studio space. Here he is:

Early this week we flew up to San Francisco to shoot Sheila and Roni’s engagement session. It turned out to be a pretty chilly and windy day up there, but these guys were sports and we cruised around town for some fun shots. We are SOOO excited to shoot their wedding this June, in what will be a 2 day event. Friday is the Hindu ceremony and Saturday the Sikh ceremony. Should make for a fantastic weekend. Here they are:

Last weekend was Claire’s Bat Mitzvah, and what a great party! We weren’t allowed to actually shoot the ceremony, but we started family photos at Beth Shir Shalom Temple, then joined everyone for the party at the Palisades Beach Club. It was a wild time. Congratulations Claire! You did a great job!!
