We were so thrilled to take pictures for this wonderful surprise 60th birthday party. Earl is a very loved man, and we had a great time hanging out with his friends & family at Michael’s Restaurant in Santa Monica. A lot of his family flew in for the event from Canada including his mother & brother from Montreal. It was a very special night. Here’s a peek:

Busy December

December 17th, 2006 | Posted in Personal at 9:38 am by jen

I thought we were going to have a quiet month of December, but boy was I wrong! My apologies for those who read our blog often, we’ve been a little lax at keeping it updated. This month has been full of album designing, DVD slideshow creating, and lots of new client meetings for next year. A shooting project we’ve been working on are head shots for Beverly Hills Egg Donation (BHED) donors. The donors have been posting snapshots and little photos of themselves, which was just not representing them well for possible recipient couples. So, BHED came to us for help! We unfortunately cannot show you these images, as the donors are made confidential, but they came out great! Check out the BHED website if you’re interested in more information on the service.

Another photo assignment we’ve been working on is to update some advertising images for the Natural History Museum. They have events there all the time (and just filmed A Night at the Museum!), but are renovating most of the common spaces, and needed some shots of their new reception spots. What a great place, I love walking around and feeling like a kid again everytime I’m there. We’ll show you more soon, we’re still working on the images (we did three different sessions there). Here’s one to get you all in the holiday mood.

My mom and I needed some twin’s snuggles, so we dropped in on my niece and nephew this afternoon. Deny me they are the cutest little munchkins EVER!!! :) There were smiles and drool for all.

Beautiful Emily

Handsome Jack

I don’t think there could be a more proud Grandma.

The Garlikov’s are Expecting

December 4th, 2006 | Posted in Kids & Family at 10:34 am by jen

Julie & Andy are expecting their first baby in about 5 more weeks! Julie looks fantastic and is simply glowing. This is the best time to get those belly shots!! We had fun hanging out out their house and capturing them and this amazing time. We met Andy through our new nextworking group Executive LeTip. Andy creates fantastic DVD’s out of old photos and movies, check out his company Big Moment Films. After our photo shoot, I followed the mama-to-be to her baby shower, where the gifts food and mimosas flowed!

The sweet couple.

It’s all about the love.

Oh that perfect bump!

Belly to belly.

Beautiful Julie.

Now, that’s my kinda welcome!

Great baloons!

It isn’t a baby shower without a little betting…

Julie is a mentor with Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, here she is with her “Little Sister” Alison.

December 4th, 2006 | Posted in Events at 9:27 am by jen

We shot Melissa and Jeffrey’s wedding this past October, and this weekend we got to document their annual holiday party! These two know how to throw a serious soiree. Melissa made all the food, baking for the last month in preparation, a bartender kept everyones drinks flowing, and a DJ spun a killer playlist. The dance room was packed! Here’s a peek…

They decked the halls of their fabulous duplex, complete with matching trees!!! Jeffrey runs his very sucessful businesses Peak Web Consulting & Peak Web Hosting out of one level while they live in the other. Fantastic Idea!!!

Melissa, the hostess with the mostess

The fabulous food…

Mistletoe was hanging in every doorway, smootching was everywhere!

The crowd around the firepit in the backyard

Jeffrey showing his guests a good time.
