Vicki & Nick at camp

We are so excited to shoot Vicki & Nick’s wedding this upcoming March, as we get to go to Sayulita, Mexico for the amazing 4 day event!!! We knew these two were a fantastic couple when we first met, but they rose to a new level when they told us where they wanted to do their engagement pictures. Vicki & Nick have been camp counselors at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times for 9 and 10 years respectively. This amazing camp is for kids living with cancer, and being there was incredible. Located about 8 miles South of Idyllwild, nestled in the San Jacinto mountains, it was the perfect backdrop for this portrait session. We love shooting people in locations that mean something special, because it’s always reflected in the photos. Here’s a sample of the day:
Back at camp for five minutes and the regression begins!

This amazing cabin is painted by all the campers, here Vicki & Nick get comfy next to the offical camp song.

It may be 90 degrees here in LA, but it sure feels like fall up in the mountains.

Practicing dancing in front of an audience.

I love that moment before the actual kiss…

Showing us how the “trolly” works. A great team building game for the kids, they managed to get Nate & me up for a ride.

The last of the sun dipping behind the mountains.
