It’s a busy time here at B&G, and we’ll have a few new blog posts coming soon. Just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone and thank Laurie Bailey for taking our family photos this year. It’s fun to be on the other side of the lens every once in awhile. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and fantastic new year!!

Our offices will be closed until January 6th. We will answer phone calls and emails when we return. Have a wonderful new years everyone!

We are so behind on blog entries!! October has been such a great and busy month, look out for a bunch of new wedding and portrait posts coming soon… we promise!! In the meantime, I thought you’d enjoy a shot of our newest photographer.

If you can believe it, Lucas is 6 months old today!! We celebrated with his first meal of solid food. Maybe 20% of it he actually ate, and we can’t tell if we was having more fun eating or grabbing at the spoons, but it was a great start. Here’s a few shots of our boy from the last couple of weeks…

We’ve been trying not to overwhelm our blog with Lucas shots, but we’ve been getting so many requests to see more photos of him, here he is! Believe it or not, we actually haven’t had much of a chance to *really* shoot him (with the exception of the first shot, which lasted all of about a minute and a half), we just pick up the camera any chance we get to snap a few images.

Lucas Sebastian Berggren was born March 20, 2008 at 7:23am, weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 6ozs and 21 inches long. After waiting a week and a half after our due date we were so happy to see him, and discover it was a him! For those who don’t know, we decided not to find out his gender ahead of time, and that last week was torture for me! It was all worth the wait. We’re all adjusting to our new lives and are happy and healthy. We’re trying to get back to everyone as quickly as possible and appreciate everyones patience. Thank you to everyone who has sent good wishes, we so appreciate it! Here’s a gander at our new assistant.

With our due date quickly approaching (this Saturday!!!) just thought I’d post a little entry and show you all what 9 months is looking like. Oh, and for those who’s emails and phone messages we don’t get back to immediately over the next week or so, please note we’ll get back to you all as soon as we can. No clue when this kid will decide on showing up, so be patient with us, we will get back to you!!! Hopefully we’ll have some shots shortly of the newest member of B&G to show you.

As I was coming home this past Sunday, I noticed a beautiful Harley-Davidson softtail parked on our street. I’m not normally a gear-head (well, unless you count my cameras and computers), but the way the light was hitting this beautiful machine inspired me to grab my camera and do an impromptu photo session.

One great detail was the chicken-foot kickstand.

While I was shooting, I met one of our neighbors. He started reminiscing about how he used to own one of these bikes. I caught a photo of him and me in the reflection of the headlamp.
