I can’t wait to photograph Shina & Soumitra’s wedding this August! We had the best time together shooting this engagement session around Santa Monica, starting with a little more formal look at The Huntley, and getting casual (and soaking wet, sorry Soumitra!!) on the beach.

Elizabeth & Joe had a private little ceremony in Colorado not too long ago. While taking a little “mini-moon” in Malibu (they went to and met at Pepperdine and love it out here) they decided they wanted some portraits of themselves. We were more than happy to oblige. They are super sweet and we had a great time romping around with them at El Matador. They’ll be having a big wedding next year in Jamaica! Congrats guys, we had a blast with you!

Brooke & Ben’s fabulous wedding will be happening this May, and we can’t wait! We had a blast with them during their engagement session, which was centered around LACMA’s Urban Lights sculpture. It was a beautiful evening, fabulous light and a hot couple. We love our job.

How adorable are these two? They made me feel as if they had known each other since they were kids. They were so comfortable (and happy) with each other, they were a joy to hang out with. As we walked around Abbot Kinney, dipping into alley ways and backyards I loved them more each second we were together. Can you believe we found a wall to perfectly match Rachel’s hoodie??? I cannot wait for their wedding at the Sofitel Los Angeles this August! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!

With all the recent rain we’ve been having here in Los Angeles, we had to reschedule Tanaz & Joe’s engagement session 3 times! Not that we were against shooting in the rain. In fact we were all set to go ahead and brave the storms… until they practically turned into hurricanes.  We decided it wasn’t fair to torture clients *that* much. All the rescheduling was meant to be, as it brought us to the most beautiful day for a beach session in Malibu. We had so much fun and can’t wait to photograph their wedding this coming June.

We had such a blast with Priya & Kavit at their engagement session. They are serious goofballs, just our kinda couple.  They also knew when to pull out the model moves, it was a fantastic photo session. Walt Disney Hall in downtown Los Angeles is such a beautiful spot to photograph, we jumped when they said that’s where they wanted to do their e-pics. We cannot wait until their 3 day wedding weekend this coming March.

There is nothing that makes my job better than photographing awesome clients. And I’ve got to say, we’re so lucky to have so many amazing clients to work with. Case in point, Amy & Tyler. They are beautiful, goofy, fun and just a blast to be around. We were so lucky to photograph Tyler’s sister’s wedding 2 years ago in Joshua Tree and absolutely love his family. Here’s a look at the fun we had during Amy & Tyler’s engagement session…

We’ll be photographing Jenica & Peter’s amazing wedding in La Jolla at the end of the month and can’t wait! We had a lot of fun with them at Union Station on a VERY hot day for this engagement session. See you guys soon!!!

Laura & Frank’s upcoming wedding at Michael’s Restaurant is going to be so fabulous, we can’t wait! I had such a great time with these two (and their dogs!) crashing a wedding at Pasadena City Hall (well, not so much crash it as sneak around to some great photo spots so no one could see us) and then off to the Colorado St. bridge for their engagement session.

We can’t wait to photograph Karthi & Erik’s wedding this coming August. Could these two be more in love??? Their story is so sweet - they worked together, both liked each other, but were totally intimidated by each other. They finally got their courage together and… well, here they are. They wanted something “a little more formal” than a typically session, so we suggested Walt Disney Concert Hall as the backdrop. Being the dream clients that they are, they said “sure, we’ll do anything you say”. And they did. Here’s a look:
